Every year since 1963 16th September, we come together as a nation to celebrate the day Sabah, Sarawak, and Malaya united to become the country we love, Malaysia. History serves as a reminder that Malaysia did not come without struggles and we shouldn’t take for granted the unity we have developed and appreciate the rich heritage we collectively share.

Malaysia is a land of many cultures, languages, and traditions. We have Malays, Chinese, Indians, and so many other ethnic groups living together in harmony. It’s this mix of people and cultures that makes our country unique and special. One of many commonalities we share as a nation is our love for food!

One of the best ways to celebrate anything is by enjoying the simple pleasures of gathering with family and friends over a meal. Whether it’s nasi lemak, roti canai and teh tarik, food has always been a way to bring people together in Malaysia. The sharing of a meal is a symbol of the unity we hold dear.

Hari Malaysia is also a great time to support local businesses and craftspeople. From small neighbourhood shops to traditional markets, these are the places that reflect the true spirit of our community. Before we had international multi-chain brand stores, we relied on those local shops to provide our daily needs. Each store was unique in their own special way. It was the stories of the uncles and aunties behind the gerai or at  the cashier till. Let’s show them our support by buying local, sharing their stories and be proud of what makes Malaysia’s small businesses so unique and special.

So let’s  take pride in our nationality, wave our flags high and truly celebrate being Malaysian in all shapes and forms! A Year of Fun, Surprises, Loving, and Caring for Our Customers 

As we bid farewell to 2023, let's take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've had at Tedboy. It's been a year filled with celebrations, new experiences, and, most importantly, cherishing sweet moments with all of Tedboy's beloved customers from outlets and online.

We kicked off the year in vibrant red and gold Fatt Choy, celebrating Chinese New Year with enthusiasm. Whether it was traditional or modern, we made sure it was a delicious start to the year. The year commenced with a fantastic start for our members, enjoying special double points and catering bundles with exclusive freebies.

In March, Tedboy underwent a pricing revision, now inclusive of the 6% SST. Our focus was on ensuring that you get the best without burning a hole in the customer’s wallet. Good quality treats that everyone can enjoy – that's our promise. Additionally, we introduced the refreshing thirsty squeezer fruit drinks, featuring real fruit goodness. From citrus zing to tropical delight, these fruity beverages quickly became a hit. We hope you relished every sip!

As Ramadan and Raya arrived, your overwhelming support for our Raya cookies and hot foods made the celebrations even more special. We expressed our gratitude by offering Raya-themed paper bags and complimentary Raya greeting cards for cookie purchasers.

Appreciation Months

For Mother's Day, we baked a special cake and cute icing art cookies in a box – a sweet tribute to all the wonderful moms out there. Not forgetting our family heroes, we collaborated with a salon for a month, offering fun activities for kids and parents, games finding differences, and rewarded with RM10 cash voucher.

In the second quarter, we expanded our reach by opening a new Tedboy outlet at Wisma Standard Chartered in Bukit Jalil, making it easier for Standard Chartered employees to savour our delicious treats. We also initiated a Collect and Redeem campaign, running for three months, as a token of appreciation for our incredible customers. The campaign received an enthusiastic thumbs-up from the Tedboy community.

August & September... Spread the patriotic spirit of Malaysia

Malaysia's patriotic month, we showed our care for Tedboy Club Members by gifting them a special Messyvoices illustration design for the Merdeka button badge collaboration. Flashing this badge during the week of September 16th entitled members to a sweet 16% discount on any purchase from Tedboy outlets.

  Tedboy took part in the Animangaki event at Mines, celebrating the vibrant world of anime and manga, sharing the excitement of Tedboy foods with fans. Great support from the visitors and collaboration with CTZ'S &  

 Teaming up with the non-profit organization Zubedy, we engaged in community activities such as blood donation and inclusive events like running and trekking. It was all about spreading positive vibes and making a meaningful impact on this society. Halloween became extra sweet with overwhelming support from Tedboy customers from outlets and online for our spooky cookies and cupcakes.

The Last Chapter Of The Year 2023!

Collaborating with Mooms and Atria Mall for a jolly Christmas celebration, we ensured good times, good treats, and good vibes for everyone. Not limiting ourselves to one Christmas event, we partnered with Jayaone for a Christmas Winter Wonderland Fun Trail event, adding more joy with surprise gifts.

Finally, our Christmas goodies received immense love from you, making the festive season extra special with Tedboy.
